Hanging Out @ Aunt Karen's House with the Cousins!

We (Hunter and Mommy) went over to Karen and Kevin's for lunch and to hang out last Sunday. Kathy and the girls were there too, as well as Nana. Was a lot of fun!

Kids decorated sugar cookies, blew bubbles, and raked the leaves in the yard in order to jump in them! Lots of Fall Fun! And Hunter was a walkin' maniac... Hennessey family was impressed. (Bummer by the way! We discovered that we bought a *very* basic video camera that cannot upload to a PC; can only be hooked up to play on a TV!)

****But if you'd like me to text message you a video of Hunter walking, Charlie did video that on his cell and *can* send it! Just email me or text me and I will pass it on. Hunter kinda walks like Frankenstein with a "weggie" (bottom sticking out, arms up) in order to keep his balance. It's too funny. (Charlie has been known to walk behind him and imitate him.)

Anyhow, the cousins there @ Karen's house included Samantha (13), Aidan (6 + three quarters), Sean (he's 4 next month), Kara (16 mo), and Hunter (14mo). There are also some really cute pics of the two kissin' cousins, Kara and Hunter, sitting pretty (or handsomely?) in a deck chair as well. ;-)

Enjoy!

Hope all is well with you and yours.
XOXO Krista
p.s.
Charlie wasn't there b/c he was illin'. (Actually Kathy's hubby Tim was illin' too) So both men are not in any pictures... it's not that I don't like them anymore ;-) Dad/ Tom was out of town & Kevin was watching football elsewhere... and probably rather dejected to be the only adult male in the house on Football Sunday, which is totally understandable! :)

Hunter's Halloween Costume Pix

Hunter was feeling pretty awful the day before Halloween, running a 103 fever... but by the next day (after staying home with dear old Daddy & getting in some huge naps) he was feeling a tad better with a fever reduced somewhat... Anyhow, we put him in his Pumpkin Costume and passed out candy to the kids in the neighborhood, but we decided NOT to troll the neighborhood for Hunter to gather his own candy (which you *totally* we'd totally end up eating anyhow - bummer for us!)... but the lil guy wasn't feelin' 100% -- What can you do? Well, you could usurp some of the candy you bought that was intended for the neighbors' kids. (Yes, guilty as charged.)

Ah well, next yr!

Anyhow, enjoy the pictures!

Hope all is well with you.
With love,
Krista, Charlie, and Hunter

Our Four Year Anniversary!

Once again, we went to Tarara Winery in Leesburg, VA to celebrate our anniversary this yr. We love that place! This yr though it was raining! BUT... after we had a tasting and ate some yummy hor'dourves (sp?) we went outside and saw the most gorgeous rainbow! A kind "fellow-wino" (OK, wine afficionado) took our picture (again and again) --apparently she saw herself as a real photog! We appreciated her enthusiasm though!

Anyhow, we had a grand time... Hunter was at Nana and Papa's for a "spend-the-night" while we're out celebrating... AND GUESS WHAT!?! Hunter walked for the 1st time... SIX REAL STEPS ACROSS THE ENTIRE ROOM... at their house! He made a bee line to Papa!
And... ever since he's been a walkin' maniac! He's getting the hang of it really well! We'll post some video footage in the next post!

Anyhow, Charlie and I enjoying this 4th yr... Life is good... we're happy in our little family of three. :)

XXOO, Hope all is well...
With love,
Krista & Charlie

Lil Baby to Lil Man!

Hunter got his 1st hair cut this October... it was starting to get on Mommy's nerves hanging over his ears. What you see here are "before and after" shots... the "before" has his hair slicked back like a "guido" b/c that way it's not hanging over the ears! We (Nana came along for "moral support"!) ended up going to Hair Cuttery in Fair Lakes b/c the Cartoon Cuts had a 1/2 hour wait and it was almost closing so we were SOL (and I don't mean Standards of Learning)...
Anyhow, they were AWESOME there @ Haircuttery! I almost feel bad calling it Hair Butchery for so many yrs. (One bad cut for Charlie had me bitter.) And they even gave the lil guy a "1st Hair Cut Certificate"... Hunter was SO well behaved too! YAY!
Enjoy the pix! Hope all is well.

Cox Farms!

Charlie, Hunter, and I had a great time picking out pumpkins and walking around Cox's Farms! There are all sorts of farm animals... and Hunter actually got to pet the Billy Goats! He's a little young to enjoy everything there is to offer at this pumkin patch, but it's a great family place none the less!
Enjoy the pix... Hope all is well!
