Fun in February!

Emily and Pat, our old neighbors (from when we lived in the condo in Ashburn) and our dear friends, have a son named Caden who is only 3 months older than Hunter... so one Friday night in February when we were hanging out, we decided to throw our boys in the tub before their bed time.... it was a riot! We of course punked their hair out in nice shampoo mohawks -- these boyz are BAD! ;-) And -- woops! -- I set the camera in sepia tone and wasn't sure how to change it!

Also, Charlie and I decided to take Hunter on the 3 min walk to the playground, even though it was pretty cold! But we bundled Hunter up for sure! And man oh man! He had such a GREAT time on the swing and his absolute new favorite: the slide!

And then February is Krista's "b-day month"; yeah, OK, I like to milk it... Anyhow, Charlie and I went out to dinner earlier in the month around the real day (Feb 9) but we ended up celebrating with the family late b/c of other family members' b-days and other happenings this month... so this little soiree was last weekend on the 21st at my folks' house... it was GREAT. Kathy and Tim (my sis and bro-in-law) were down from WVA; Karen and Kevin and their sons were there from Manassas; Lisa was up for a visit from Mathews VA; and the Jacks came a whopping 15 minutes over from Springfield as well... I am so pleased that my in-laws and my parents get along so well. And Hunter got to play with all his cousins! It was a good party!

Nana and Papa Babysittin' Pics and Hunter at Kiddie Kandid Studio!

These sled/wintery pictures were taken before Christmas but we didn't remember to post them! Hunter just LOVED the "squeak toy" the woman had at Kiddie Kandids in Babies R Us! So several pics came out really nice -- even though his little "photog session" was after a full day at daycare and usually he'd be pretty tired... but as you can see he is just beaming ...and giggling hard!

Last weekend, Feb 7th, when Charlie and Krista went out for her birthday dinner, Nana and Papa babysat Hunter overnight at their house... they had a grand time together! Charlie and I had a yummy dinner at Bonefish, but alas forgot the camera! Maybe next weekend when we go out to a movie and dinner at Coastal Flats for Valentine's Day we'll remember the dang camera! (We have not gone out for V-day in a long while, nor have we taken in a movie in a LONG time! Lookin' forward to it. Anyhow, Nana and Papa call Hunter "A Pure Joy" to take care of... and we're glad! :)

We also went to Aidan's 7th birthday party, which was a lot of fun... but forgot our camera again... so maybe Aunt Karen can hook us up with some pics to post to the blog?

It's taking Charlie's April b-day and my Feb b-day and splittin' the difference. ;) It's really just an excuse to get some of our fav peeps together to hang out!
