Happy January!

Hello! Hope all is well...
We've gotten our routine down pat fairly well now that I have gone back to work. I miss Hunter like heck when I am away from him, but the consolation is that he seems to really like his daycare! Mirabel, the sitter, says he's just so happy all the time. It might be because he IS the only boy at her house; there are three other little girls for Hunter to flirt with. ;)

Some more exciting news is that Hunter & Charlie were baptized on Jan 13th! :) And, our son made us SO proud. Hunter was an absolute ANGEL, which is saying something because the boy missed TWO naps. Yes, he's a sweetie! Hunter was also "dressed to the nines" in a gorgeous traditional gown, a lovely present from his Nana and Papa. But, it's a good thing we got him baptized in January and didn't wait another month; his top button wouldn't button as it was!

ALSO, we're happy to say we've become members at St. George's United Methodist Church, where Nana and Papa attend & where Charlie and I were married. It's dear to us. We especially enjoy Pastor Denise's genuine and heartfelt sermons. She LOVES baptisms and she made Charlie and Hunter's so very special. All day at the baptism, Charlie and I were thinking of how BLESSED we are.

Then, on Jan 17th, we got some Good Snow... finally! So, we threw Hunter in his little snow suit, compliments of Grandma Lyn... And man, was he cute! Hunter kinda didn't know what to make of the snow at first, but then in typical fashion, was all GRINS.

Finally, on Jan 18th, Hunter turned 4 months! ALSO, worthy of mentioning is that on Jan 10th Hunter finally gave us his first laugh. He's always SMILEY, but can be a little stingy with his laughs, but when they come out, boy they're cute!

So... in between Baptisms and Snow, we've just been visiting with our local family and enjoying life! We sure hope all is well & that 2008 is a WONDER-FULL year for you!

Please drop us a line when you get a moment...
With Love,
Krista, Charlie & Hunter

Ooops! Almost Forgot... Hunter's Visit with Santa!

Hunter sat on Santa's knee and was a very good boy... he got exactly what he asked for: parents to love on him and mush on him everyday... and, yeah, he got a couple of toys he wanted ;)

Happy New Year!

Gosh, we sure have had a GREAT holiday season...
Hunter turned 3 months, but is probably not going to fit into 3-6 mo old clothes for much longer; I have developed nice biceps b/c of that baby boy! That's Hunter on Dec 18th in his reindeer shirt. :)
We celebrated Charlie's dad's (Dave) b-day and our nephew Sean's b-day in Dec...
We celebrated Xmas Eve w/ Dave and Lyn and a lovely meal... we had a nice family dinner at Mom and Dad's (Barbara and Tom's) house w/ Karen and Kevin and their sons Aidan and Sean right before the holiday... we celebrated Xmas Day w/ the Hennessey side of the family at Kathy and Tim's house in WVA (my oldest sister and her husband & two daughters, Samantha and Kara) ... we went down to Moon, Virginia to see Charlie's sister Lisa and her husband and their two daughters, Lauren and Kelsey before New Year's.... I got to see my dear old friends from VT after Xmas, Kim and Meredith.... and then on New Year's Eve, Lyn and Dave babysat for us so Charlie and I enjoyed a night alone -- using a gift certificate to Bonefish from Karen and Kevin... after a YUMMY dinner there we hit the new Clyde's in Ashburn for a quick drink -- it's nice! We may try to organize a night out with friends/family at that Clyde's in Feb for my b-day. We actually toasted in the New Year at home, because frankly there is NO place like Home :)
Hope you're well and please enjoy our pictures!
And have a WONDER-FULL New Year!

Much Love, Krista & Charlie & Hunter

BTW, for those of you who are not aware; I return to work on Jan 7th. I am sad to be away from my baby, but am excited to see students/colleagues again.
