OKAY, so the room off the kitchen is called the "sun room" but it's really what we'd hoped would be Hunter's "play room" ... it's stuffed with toys since his birthday party in September and Christmas... but WHERE does Hunter prefer to be? In the kitchen with Mommy, playing in the warming drawer while she does dishes (when stove is NOT on by the way)... but Hunter doesn't just amuse himself with (what I see as mudane) kitchen utensils stuffed inside the drawer, but rather Hunter prefers to actually SIT inside the drawer like it's his boat. Alas, Hunter, that boat will not get you very far, but good job trying!
Also, in the month of December, we decorated the tree... which, by the way, Hunter did not pull off one single ornament this season! I was THRILLED... We'll see if that works out next yr!!!!
AND Krista's high school friend Kim came home from London, England for a visit... so, I invited all the girls over for a happy hour: Kelly, Brigid, and Emily ... it was a GREAT time! We drank, laughed, ate some yummy British candy she brought, and chatted. Loads of fun we need to do more often.
Finally, Mommy found the courage to brave the Santa line a 2nd time at the mall -- this time on a weekday afternoon and NOT a Saturday <-- that was such a crash 'n burn episode! Hunter, just up from a LONG nap on a Saturday and chipper as can be, was a MONSTER once we waited in line for almost 2 hours... I guess all "newbie" parents have to make the mistake of "oh, not my kid!" thinking. We totally did. Anyhow, Wed at 4:00 was a MUCH better photog session with St. Nick, as you can see. :) All smiles... but, I wonder what the heck was Santa's problem though -- he doesn't look amused ?!?!?! ;-)
