Ticonderoga Farms ~ Spring Break!

Hunter & I joined his Aunt Karen, cousins Aidan (8) and Sean (5), their two neighborhood friends Tyler & Dylan, Karen's O'Malley sisters-in-laws Kerri and Ann and their two kiddos Ronan and Brenna @ Ticonderoga Farms on Thursday. It was a BLAST! And it was gorgeous weather to boot. Though there was no Easter egg hunt nor Easter Bunny as we'd hoped, there was a guy dressed up in a giant chicken costume! (Hunter wasn't so sure about him.) AND there were looooong hillside slides galore, a pirate ship playground, a petting zoo, reconstructed "forts" and "teepees", a suspension bridge, a hayride, and a tire jungle gym. We ate lunch under a shaded gazebo and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Hunter truly had SO much fun on the slides and everything else, but the thing he loved BEST was being Aidan's "shadow" for the day AND throwing rocks into the lake... again, and again, and AGAIN (hence the thousand pictures; it NEVER got old for him). Ah, life's simple pleasures! He certainly got hot and dirty, but also had so much fun. He fell asleep in the car before I even pulled outta the parking lot. What a day! We will definitely go back to Ticonderoga Farm again & again!
